Memphis Kicks Off Global Entrepreneurship Week with Citywide Events and Mayoral Proclamation

In partnership with the City of Memphis, EDGE, the Greater Memphis Chamber, Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development (TNECD), and Epicenter, the Memphis community will recognize Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) from Monday, November 17, through Sunday, November 23, 2025.

To launch the week, Mayor Paul A. Young will issue an official Proclamation declaring November 17–23, 2025 as Entrepreneurship Week in Memphis / Entrepreneurship City, honoring the entrepreneurs and small businesses that fuel the region’s economic growth.

Throughout the week, organizations across the ecosystem will coordinate a social media awareness campaign highlighting services, resources, and support available to small businesses. Additionally, partners will host five in-person events open to entrepreneurs, ecosystem partners, and the public (where noted).
