Marina Lita

Marina Lita is the managing director of GEN Moldova. She co-founded the organization and has been involved with GEN Moldova for more than nine years. As co-founder, Marina has become the driver for women's entrepreneurship projects, the main consultant on internal and external communication, lead for some local programs and an active promoter of global competitions. 

With a background in journalism and currently in the process of getting her Master’s Degree in International Trade and Economic Diplomacy, Marina started her career in communications in 2007. Her interest in entrepreneurship stemmed from her career as a journalist since economic independence is crucial for independent decision making, social welfare, a better livelihood for the people of Moldova and a fairer world. While in the past she enjoyed more charity work, now she has dedicated herself to investing in a new more inclusive, more entrepreneurial, more innovative, and more sustainable society. Marina likes working in international environments exchanging ideas cross-culturally and she loves people, building synergies among teams.
