- Kazakhstan is introducing investor visas, skilled worker visas, and 'golden visas' to position the country as a regional hub for investment and human capital (Arab Times Online)
- Ghana has launched a student enterprise and entrepreneurship development policy to equip university and tertiary-level students with the tools, skills, and support needed to start and sustain viable businesses. The policy was developed in partnership with the National Union of Ghana Students (3news)
- Vietnam has set the goal of establishing one million one-person enterprises by 2030, as part of a national strategy on innovative startups, which describes startups as both a driver of growth and a "cause of the entire people" (VovWorld)
- The Netherlands' tech group Techleap has split into two entities: 'Techleap Deeptech & Ecosystem', funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and led by Greg de Temmerman, which will focus on programs supporting deeptech startups and spin-outs, and 'Stichting Techleap', a privately funded entity led by Prince Constantijn, which will focus on Techleap's community activities (NL Times)
- Australia's entrepreneurs have warned that the government's (speculated) plan to abolish the 50% discount on capital gains tax for all asset classes will "set back the startup ecosystem in Australia by a decade or more". Entrepreneurs are calling for a carve-out for startup founders and employee share ownership schemes (ABC)
