Asif Iqbal

Asif Iqbal is the Director(Special Projects) of Global Entrepreneurship Network UK. He is an experienced educator with over 9+ years of teaching experience in the fields of Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship. He teaches Entrepreneurship, Technopreneurship, and Marketing at HEI in the UK, Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and other countries. As a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship, he established the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh - the first of its kind in the country. In addition to his teaching experience, Asif has played an instrumental role in building global entrepreneurship communities, supporting over 5000 entrepreneurs in growing their businesses. He has served as the National Director and International Partner of the World Business Angel Investment Forum in Bangladesh, Executive Director of Startup Huddle Dhaka, Director of Startup Grind- Dhaka, and Country Director of the Entrepreneurship World Cup in Bangladesh. As a WBAF Accredited Global Mentor for Startups, he has received numerous awards, including the "GEN Rookie of the Year 2019" in Global Entrepreneurship Congress-2019 in Bahrain, "SG Rookie of the Year 2019" in SG Global Conference-2019 in Silicon Valley, and Grand Assembly Award-2020 in the World Congress-2020 in Istanbul, Turkey.
